Merri Fete

I think I've mentioned on here before that I love school fetes, until I get to them and remember that they're teeming with overexcited children! These pics are from a school fete about a month ago which was particularly FULL ON with loads of kids. It was a good one though, I got some succulents and they had yummy food for sale.

Then, after making an escape we grabbed coffees at one of my favourite local cafes.

Plantlife Loft

I so love that plant covered shelf, cleverly used as a room divider in the LA loft of Adam Pogue and Daniel Aston, who are pictured above with their dog Otto, looking like the cutest family ever!

Small Things #2

I am really bad at buying plants and then not getting around to potting them for weeks and weeks - I'm such a terrible plant mother. These are some new guys that I finally potted properly. I'm keeping them all lined up in the sunniest spot in the house, now to be known as the 'plant nursery', until they get settled.

This is a pile of nearly 200 photographs I recently had printed (9 cents a print = bargain!) Now I need to find time to put them all nicely into a photo album.

Kuwaii kicks I wrote about here arrived a few weeks back and have barely left my feet. I love them so!

House Love

Cluttered, bohemian homes filled with plants and rugs and books. If I lived in any of these places I don't think I would ever leave. I'd just stay at home tending to my plants and reading, and maybe rearranging the cushions now and then. And learning to macramé giant wallhangings. Found on Gingerbread House and the Brickhouse.

New old books

I've recently added these secondhand gems to my book collection. The first two came my way last week while I was in Sydney, courtesy of a man in Kings Cross giving away his books in the street… sounds a bit dodgy, but as he told me 'there's not much that's free in this world', and I am not one to pass up free books!

And a couple of plant books, because I need all the help I can get with my indoor plants.
