Summer Sundress
It's 22 degrees in Melbourne this morning and it feels like summer! I'm on the lookout for the perfect summer dress and can't get this one out of my head - Lily Allen wore it when she performed with Blondie on US tv about a year ago. I am obsessed!! Where can I get mine??!

Confetti System Go!
New York based artist/designers Nicholas Andersen and Julie Ho are The Confetti System, a duo who create the most AMAZING decorations for parties, theatre, installations, or to buy for your home. I really want one of their Multi Coloured Garlands! Here in Melbourne you can get them from Third Drawer Down.
They were recently featured on The Selby, which is where the following images are from. Man, I want to work there! Do you think they have any jobs going??
They say it's your birthday

Gaffa
When I was in Sydney recently I stopped by the wonderful Gaffa Gallery. Aswell as a gallery space Gaffa is home to artist studios, a groundfloor cafe and shop, and the Arcade Project, which when I visited was curated by Finders Keepers.
This was such a great place for buying gifts, and the timing was perfect because I have a heap of October birthday people to buy presents for. I couldn't go past these plates by the Storybook Rabbit. I bought the one on the left in the above image for my friend Jennie. I got a 'Sydney' tote for my Sydney-loving sister, and for me I nabbed the too cute for words 2010 Frankie Diary, and some Frankie gift cards too.
This is such a beautiful diary - I love the clothbound hardcover! I just had to get one, though I suspect that for day to day use I'll probably end up buying my usual, basic moleskine.
Weekend fun
In the weekend I went to this bar, and these markets. I got the new issue of Bust magazine and chuckled at the hilarious Amy Sedaris "Craftercise" photos. I watched Bonnie & Clyde, and ate beetroot and holoumi salad, which was a taste sensation! I saw some cute farm animals at the Collingwood school fair, and explored their amazing kitchen gardens.
And I made this chocolate cream pie - another taste sensation! I should have taken a photo of it but couldn't manage to stop eating long enough to get the camera out - yum!
You are apples and I am tangerines
Eagle vs Shark is the tale of two socially awkward misfits and the strange ways they try to find love; through revenge on high-school bullies, burgers, and video games.
It also has one of the best soundtracks ever by the Phoenix Foundation.

Weekend Gardener
Yay it's Friday! This weekend I need to get around to chucking out all my dead/dying houseplants. There's a couple of school fairs on too, I think I'll be able to get some newbie plants at one of them.
